January 18, 201016 yr That's awesome. The UK Cheerleaders are legit. Congrats, bet you're very proud.
January 18, 201016 yr That move they do at the 44 second mark is AMAZING! The way they throw those two girls in the air!
January 18, 201016 yr That move they do at the 44 second mark is AMAZING! The way they throw those two girls in the air! I had never noticed that before. The fact that the girls do not hit their heads on the floor is amazing.
January 18, 201016 yr Congrats to you and your son :thumb: Is there only one national champ for d1 colleges ?
January 18, 201016 yr Morehead State won again in their division. Hopefully, some more KY high school and middle school squads can repeat as national champs as well. North Laurel won their first national titles in HS and MS last year and I believe are returning to defend their titles as well. Cheerleading in KY seems to be top notch at every level, year in and year out! Congrats to the Wildcats for #18!!! 14 of the last 16 titles belong to UK? That is domination!!!
January 18, 201016 yr Congratulations! Talk about a dynasty. I remember way back when T. Lynn Williamson began coaching the UK cheerleading squad. The girls on the squad were the campus beauty queens back then. Now, the girls are Olympic gymnasts. They still look pretty good, too. Out of curiosity, does anyone know the size/weight limits for the girls on the UK cheerleading squad?
