January 17, 201016 yr Good year for the Boys. I think they reached their peak this year. Happy for Favre and Peterson. Love to see Favre win it all then retire for good. Why would you want to see him retire for good? I mean if they win the Super Bowl, he probably will retire. However its pretty obvious that even for his age, he is still one of the top 5 QB's in the NFL. So if he would decide to play another year, I have no problem with it because the man can still play. I think no matter what happens he will retire after this year though. If they end up losing next week or the Super Bowl, I think he will just be burnt out emotionally after that. Or if they win it, then he probably will still retire. So I do think this is his last year. However I just know I have no problem if he decides to come back, and think he will still do very well.
January 18, 201016 yr There's no doubt that he will retire, it's just a question of will he come out of retirement again or not.

January 18, 201016 yr The better team won Really what ever gave you that idea? The fact that the Vikings were the better seed even going into today, or the fact that they won by 31 points...
January 18, 201016 yr I am happy the Vikings won. Hope the Colts win it all though. I font care who they beat as long as they win.

I've always loved Favre and feel the media absolutly blew the story way out of porportion with him. I don't see him playing much longer. I'd like to see him win it and ride off into the sunset. They would be one heck of a way to end his career much like Elway. I love the Colts/Cowboys but would be OK with Favre winning it all. I don't know how people can like football and not love watching Drew Brees operate. The Saints winning would be great for what that city has gone through. I'm happy with 3 of the 4 teams left. Don't have a lot for the Jets.
January 18, 201016 yr Jerry Jones' head looked like it was going to explode:lol: That has to be great for Cowboys fans. They know their owner wants to win above all else. That would make me happy.

January 18, 201016 yr Favre has had a special season. IF the Vikings were to somehow make and win the superbowl, I think Favre walks away being 2 for 3 in the super bowl and having won it with 2 different teams. He sure hasn't looked like an over the hill QB clinging to 'one more season' this year. I am very impressed with what he has done.
January 18, 201016 yr Who thinks Wade Phillips gets fired this offseason? I know that I hope he does. Oh Captain Kangaroo himself. And take Garrett with him.
January 18, 201016 yr Romo had no time to throw, the Viking's defensive front was powerful, one of the best performances of the year from any team. The Cowboys could've made it a game but they didn't have the offensive firepower to keep up with the Viking's.
January 18, 201016 yr If Favre wins it then it will be hard to dispute him having the best career in NFL history. I don't think Phillips will get fired this year. Dallas is heading in the right direction just not there yet. Barber getting healthy will help some. 3W is dead on that Dallas got beat up front by Minn which Minn does to most teams. Hard to run the ball on them. You have to be able to throw and get on the edge which NO can do. Going to be one heck of a matchup!
