The state's best player?

Featured Replies

My favorite player in the state is Justice--having not seen every "star" play, It would be a little presumptuous of me to say he is one of the best.

Aaron Watts of McCreary Central should be in the conversation, especially if we are talking about a top ten list.

Josh Sewell - Trinity, Senior (Signed w/ Miami OH)

Chane Behanan - Bowling Green, Junior (De-committed from Cincinnatti)

Ricardo Johnson - Holmes, Senior (Signed w/ Ohio)

Elisha Justice - Shelby Valley, Senior (Walking-on at UofL)

Chad Jackson - Scott Co., Senior (Offers from WVU and Xavier)

Next Best (in no particular order):

Jaylen Beckham - LexCath, Sophomore

Ge'Lawn Guyn - Scott Co., Senior

Thomas Jackson - Jtown, Senior

Remy Abell - Eastern, Junior

Elijah Pittman - Holmes, Senior

Daryl Hicks - Shelby Co., Freshman

Dakotah Euton - Scott Co., Senior

Vance Hall - Franklin Co., Senior

Hicks gets alot of love and attention from some of our writers in the Commonwealth, but he's not even near the top 10 players in our state. He will in time, but not now.

Best college potential could be a bunch of guys.

Best player at this point in season is hands down Josh Sewell at Trinity. He is flat getting it done for the team playing the best in the state at this point of the season and there is no debating this!

Pittman is the defending state-champion and hasn't slacked any so he is my best player in the state from what I have seen. I haven't got to see Sewell play but have heard an awful lot about him. I think Pittman is the man to beat because of the trophey he already has and the importance he brings to his team.

Elijah Pittman may even be knocking on the door of Top 5 in the state. He is a man among boys on the basketball court.

When Elijah Pittman plays motivated basketball he is hands down the most talented and best player in the state and honestly it's not even close.

Pittman with 34 tonight against CC showed that when he actually plays to his potential, he is the toughest player in the state to stop.

Josh Sewell and Ricardo Johnson are on the same level IMO but Pittman is above both of those two when it comes to talent.

Sewell for Mr. Basketball right now. He is doing more for his team and against top competition.

He's not top 5, but look at my previous post, I mentioned him. He is a great offensive player, I saw them play Jtown. If he had a better team around him he would get more praise but unfortunately he doesn't.

You have Justice in the top 5, I think Hall is a better player than Justice. His team has improved since the J Town game. That game was very early on their schedule.

I agree with this post.

I agree. He's a very nice all-around player.

Timmy Knipp.

Scoring a lot of points doesn't necessarily make a player the best in the state.

If Pittman had Ricardo's heart he would be unstoppable. He has so much talent. If someone can take hold of him at the Juco level and get his head on straight he can play D1 somewhere in a couple of years.
