January 8, 201016 yr I would love to see McCoy come back the second half and make a game of it at least. I love SEC football, but these national championship beat downs are getting boring.

They've got to make some big plays. Returns, Ints., trick plays. Texas can not play straight up with Alabama with a frosh QB IMO.
January 8, 201016 yr True, but I think Bama most likely converts on 4th down there. They had been running all over them. Saban was willing to go for it earlier in the game, this was a much safer situation IMO. Just the way I saw it. I think they convert as well. I think the earlier fake and not getting it played into it. That play was way out of character.
January 8, 201016 yr I would have rather seen the Gators X 2, Bucks, or Broncos take a swing at the champs. Not to get into an OSU argument, but they were not on the list of teams who could have made an argument to get in the title game.
January 8, 201016 yr ^I don't see it as that. I think Saban takes chances, but it's always in unexpected and unorthodox positions and that's why it seems so rare. JMO though.
January 8, 201016 yr Texas went from being on the verge of blowing out Bama to getting blown out. Blame Texas Coaching staff. They went from playing to win. To playing not to lose. The last play they ran someone should be fired for that play call. Just Stupid!

They should get consideration for #2 in the polls IMO. But, Texas has sort of played well too IMO, besides the play at the end of the half. If McCoy was not injured I think Texas would be in this game.
