January 8, 201016 yr I though Saban was classy in going for the FG. Brown should have just went to the half.
January 8, 201016 yr Saban a WV boy will be the first college football coach to lead two different schools to a National Championship!!
January 8, 201016 yr Maybe they need to get Lou Holtz to come into UT's locker room for a little inspirational speech. A very, very, very very, very, good speech is needed, to say the least.
January 8, 201016 yr You gotta feel bad for the Texas backup qb. He probably thought he'd be hanging out on the sidelines drinking gatorade and munching on snacks during the game, but instead he's getting a lot of exposure he hadn't planned on.
January 8, 201016 yr I would have rather seen the Gators X 2, Bucks, or Broncos take a swing at the champs.
January 8, 201016 yr I though Saban was classy in going for the FG. Brown should have just went to the half. I do not think it was about class in the first half. For Saban, it is all about percentages. It was about keeping the positive flow, flowing and not giving UT a chance to gain some momentum with a stop. But having said that, I do not think UT would have stopped them.
January 8, 201016 yr I don't feel bad for someone being stupidNo, that was nothing but stupid. I feel bad for Texas because they are trying to compete in a national title game without their star.

True, but I think Bama most likely converts on 4th down there. They had been running all over them. Saban was willing to go for it earlier in the game, this was a much safer situation IMO. Just the way I saw it.
