Who still reads the newspaper?

Featured Replies

Every day.

Over 32?

I have magical anti-blurry newspaper goggles. PM me if you need to know where to get them.

BTW, for those of you who only read the paper via computer.....do you take the computer into the bathroom with you???

I just got out of the bathroom with my computer.

I don't always do it, but I must admit that I take it in there with me from time to time.

Isn't that why they invented the laptop?

This guy does.

I start each day by reading the newspaper(I wondered why the print was starting to look a little blurry thanks malachicrunch & TonyDanza for the clarification).

True story! :lol::lol::lol:

How would I find yesterdays paper online?

Archives. Or, if it's a big story, it'll probably be in the "Most commented" or "most recommended" section.

I think he's attempting to point out that it's much easier to save today's paper for later than it is to save a link.

I'm not sure that I agree, but I think that was the point.

No .. I really just wanted to find an article from yesterdays paper.

For that matter, it's probably still there, but I'm not sure how you determine which issue an online article appeared in. Even if there is a date attached to the link, oftentimes the story has changed/been edited a handful of times by the time you ever see it.

I still subscribe to the local paper (Ledger-Independent). Nice to have a daily (except Sunday) paper in a town the size of Maysville (about 8,000).

The publisher spoke at the Rotary Club yesterday about the "demise" of the printed paper. Said he felt that was more of an issue in large markets; particularly those with more than one newspaper.

I'd be surprised if anyone under age 32 reads the newspaper.

I'd guess that everyone else simply reads it online.

25 and I read USA today just about every day at work.

I read the local paper every morning. If I'm not at work I usually don't look at the news.

I buy a paper every Sunday.

Someone always brings the paper to work and I read it when he's finished. I wouldn't get online to look at the paper unless I was job hunting.

I read the Kentucky Enquirer daily and when the Post was still being published subscribed to that too . I occasionally read the Herald Leader and the Courier Journal and USA Today , the New York Times and Wall Street Journal . I read the Messenger ( Diocese of Covington paper ) weekly and the local Campbell Co paper . I recycle a lot of newsprint daily !:ylsuper:
