Both Domonique Hayden and Branden Burdette are actively pursuing D1 football opportunities to play at the next level as the February 4th signing date approaches. There are a handful of other LCA players pursuing opportunities at other collegiate levels. I'm not at liberty to discuss which schools are in play until they've made their decisions final.

Will Bardo vs St. X

 

Took over the game with his feet and was the main reason they won that game.

Jordan Hansel from SK. That offense scored alot of points using his blocking and he always got a double team on defense.

 

Linemen......gotta love 'em.

 

Hansel was a great lineman, but his size was what drove him. Even many scouts have criticized him for lack of mobility and footwork. The supporting cast on the O-line made up for Hansel's mistakes. One key note: I have been to many games and he allowed the most sacks this year. But best of luck to the young man in college. I say Collinsworth.

A total team effort that resulted in a huge victory for Highlands!!!

I have to agree with you (and Gryche 11 too!). Bardo had a simply outstanding game against X.

 

It was a total team effort. All the kids you mentioned played a big role. And let's not forget the play of the special teams also. Hogue had some great punts; Weinel had great kicks and a nice field goal; and the kids covering punts and kick offs did an outstanding job.

 

If I haven't worn out the dvd, I may have to watch that game again tonight! :clap:

Someone sounds bitter.

 

Of course, his size was a factor in his play that is why he is a lineman. Yes his size is a factor in getting a scholarship. They do not give scholarships to lineman that are 5'10" and a 180#.

I'm not bitter, Hansel just receives too much hype than he deserves. If he was the size of Piccirillo he wouldn't be in a Ball State jersey next year.

Great team effort for sure, several great plays but I was truly impressed the most by Will's performance. That was my answer.
