Didn't get to see Bowling Green play this year but agree with other players and also include Andrews and the DB who was so good for Fort Campbell sorry to have forgotten his name but best DB I saw all year.

 

He is a junior and his name is #23 Tre Powell, not only the best DB but probably the best athlete on the FC squad. In addition to duty as a DB he had 23 TDs; rushing, receiving and special teams and over 1,000 yards total offense.

Probably Neil Wilson of Monroe Co. and Ricky Harper of Bardstown.

I'm not bitter, Hansel just receives too much hype than he deserves. If he was the size of Piccirillo he wouldn't be in a Ball State jersey next year.

 

And if Wilt Chamberlain wasn't 7 feet tall, he wouldn't have been a center.

 

From the times I saw Hansel play, I was very impressed. I thought he was the best lineman in NKY.

These two were a very nice 1-2 punch for the Birds this year along with the rest of the guys on defense. Other than watching them play every Friday, I also enjoyed hearing the after game stories about conversations that took place on the field.:sssh:

If this is the RB from Beechwood I would agree. This kid is going to be a stud, the one game I seen him play was against Bellevue in the playoffs and wow.

 

I would also throw Ricky Buckler's name in here. One of the best to play at Gilligan.

If you are referring to Vocke, how about 14 carries for 100 yards against Highlands? There are D1 scholarships going to 1A kids also so you can't just dismiss players because they play 1A.

Here are a few more in Southeast kiy. Watts- McCreary CentraL Moses --Williamsburg Davenport- Bell Co. Roark- McCreary Central. Cassida- Knox and the Running Back from Rock.

Maniello as stated above. I believe was a redshirt this year. I may be mistaken but I think he had some surgery (shoulder perhaps?) so he sat out this year.

 

Slusher from Beechwood is also playing D1 as a preferred walk on at UC. Teipel was doing the same at UL but I believe he left the program there.
