I have to say this may have been the most enjoyable Highlands thread all year. I loved the way everyone approached this in a light hearted manner and just had fun with it without making too big a deal out of it. Kudos to the Bird fans on this one!

 

By the way, I am looking forward to tailgating at the Ft. Thomas Swim Club next year. I hear it is the best place to be with the parking situation at Highlands ... and just a short walk to the stadium.

The loss to Abilene caused great distress in the city; so we are playing at Newport while a massive rennovation is being done @ DCM. Rumor has it that Dale renegotiated his contract and has added to his demands a new turn key locker facility with indoor practice bubble and the Boise blue turf which already has arrived. RW has a skip in his step and still no entrance until 6:30PM. 20n10 is coming...

The winner of the Bosco/Abilene game should take this.

Rule 13

Do the birds still use that same old smelly locker room that we had in the early 70s. I hope not. These boys deserve the best. Maybe with all this national exposure the birds can go first class all the way. Dale has the ability to take this program up another notch or two.

It's all over boys and girls. This morning, Highlands suffered a heartbreaking loss to Abilene 35-13. :cry:

 

There goes our perfect season and perfect record against out-of-state mythical opponents. But I'm sure Dale and the boys will learn from this defeat and simulate working even harder in the off-season, so that next season, they will be virtually assured of a national championship! :thumb:

You obviously are not a Highlands fan or know Dale very well. Dale would never say anything without including the words Phenominal or Awesome in a sentence when talking Highlands Football::laugh: 20n10

Don't forget to mention the giant moth and the girl pointlessly dancing by herself in the endzone.

I thought that was kind of odd.
