December 30, 200916 yr And it was Lamar Woodley who predicted that the Pats and Bengals would lay down to prevent the Steelers from getting to the playoffs. I suppose if you stick enough microphones in the faces of enough idiots, you'll get one of them to say it. http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/09364/1024559-100.stm
December 30, 200916 yr Author As a Steeler fan, I'm ashamed one of our guys had to say it. Would serve the moron right to lose this weekend in Miami. All the scenarios involve the Steelers winning in Miami. Seems they've assumed they will win this weekend. Once again without Troy, I'd be surprised to see them win down there. No one knows you're a moron until you open your mouth and remove all doubt. Perhaps someone from Cleveland, Oakland, or Kansas City should text him to remind him of how he and his teammates laid eggs in those contests. Sheesh!!:ohbrother:
December 30, 200916 yr The Jets are 10 point favorites in Cincy this week... Would be funny to see the Jet's make the playoff have to play Cinci again and only be like 3 point favorite the next time.
December 30, 200916 yr Would be funny to see the Jet's make the playoff have to play Cinci again and only be like 3 point favorite the next time. I doubt they would be favored @ Cincy.

I'd say, if they play again the next week in Cincy, that the Bengals are a 4pt favorite. It's another stupid comment from him. Why would NE lay down, they're playing for the 3 seed. Now, if they win, I think the Bengals will throw in the towel. Even though every indication from them so far this week is that they'll play. If so, better grab that 9.

December 31, 200916 yr Somebody tell Lamar the Bengals aren't afraid of a terrible team that they've already beaten twice this year.

December 31, 200916 yr I'm unfortunately going to have to agree with Woodley. I don't want to see the Steelers either.
December 31, 200916 yr I'm unfortunately going to have to agree with Woodley. I don't want to see the Steelers either. You agree with this? "All of them will lay down," said Woodley, who leads the Steelers with 11.5 sacks, third in the AFC. "No one wants to see Pittsburgh in there. That's just how it is. Everybody knows we're a dangerous team once we get into the playoffs no matter how we played throughout the whole year." Everyone is going to lay down for the sole purpose of keeping the Steelers out? Hardly.

December 31, 200916 yr I agree with the fact that nobody wants to see the Steelers in the playoffs. I sure don't.... Yeah teams that lose to Cleveland, Oakland, and KC just recently scare the living crap out of NE and Cincy. I think he just wants to be covered when one of them lose. It doesn't do both teams any good to play all their starters, so why would they?
