December 27, 200916 yr I believe he probably knew. That is a real possibility. UF may have told him to take the HC position at UL because he wouldn't be in the running for the UF job. We'll find out soon enough if his name pops up in the discussion.

Florida is one of three programs IMO (USC, Texas, Florida) who will be able to get whoever they want...I think that Strong is a good Coach, just not sure Florida is a good job to cut your teeth on. Administration at FL knows this.

Administration at FL knows this. I agree. Kind of like how UK felt Pelphrey and Ford aren't ready and went and got Calipari. Florida can have who they want, likely, why settle for Strong just because of his familiarity? Probably not the wisest move.
