I love "The Ref"! The line about buying Mother the wooden cross for next Christmas is one of my favorite all time movie quotes! Great movie, not for the family, though!:lol::lol::lol:

That Nightmare Before Christmas is my favorite, followed by christmas Vacation.

 

My least favorite, by far, is Christmas Story. I can not stand that movie. I have banned it being watched at my house while I am there and awake, lol.

Thanks! Had something big at work come up in early November and it has pretty much consumed my life the last 6-7 weeks. Need X-mas break more than ever. :thumb:

I voted "Christmas Story," but other candidates include "Bad Santa" and "Planes, Trains and Automobiles."

I am with you. As a kid I enjoyed it, but the movie has just been burned out. Now TBS does the 24 hours straight of the movie, and I have no idea why?

Growing up I know I liked Ernest Saves Christmas, but I have a feeling I would now throw up in my mouth if I watched it.

I find "Elf" absolutely hysterical from beginning to end. I crack upu at the scene where he takes the girl blindfolded to a dumpy coffe shop and gives her a cup of coffee and asks her to guess what it is (she says, "A crappy cup of coffee" and he replies, "No, it's the World's Best Cup of Coffee" because they had a sign saying such in the window).

I knew 7 1/2 of the 12 things. 1/2 because I knew A Christmas Story inspired The Wonder Years, but I didn't know Billingsley was in an episode.
