Based on some of the stuff that is starting to come out on our premium board, I hope he follows the path of the last 4 ND coaches... :taz: :idunno:

You mean like he has been in "contact" with ND for about a week?

Among several other things...

I think the mystique of playing at ND is over. The northern/cold weather schools do not anymore attract the athletes needed to win a National Championship. Since the BCS started only 5 of 24 teams in cold/cool areas have made the championship game. Ohio State 3 times, Va. Tech and Nebraska. One national championship out of 12, Ohio State. Good luck BK. I think he will need it.

Don't you mean the last 3? I'm sure he settle for 100-30-2 with a NC. Plus a comfy job with the 4 letter where they don't require him to take his meds.

You forgot the coach that never coached a game. Like it or not, they hired O'Leary...

I do not think the mystique is over, I mean it is the leading sports story probably all over the country,at least it is on ESPN.

I said mystique of playing for. The fan base is there but the kids of today know nothing about it.

I think they do know the "name" and realize that it is a big time program.

Turning on him already, huh?

Based on some things coming out from people close to the program and parents of the players, yes...

So the parents are glad to see him go?

Interesting. Are these things that will be coming out over the next few days?
So the parents are glad to see him go?

No, they are furious with the way he pretended to be up front and honest while lying at every turn. And they aren't exactly happy the kids found out through the media and not directly from BK...
