Here is the main reason why you consider Notre Dame over UC if you are BK.

 

UC loses yesterday and they are out of the BCS games.

ND finishes the year 11-1 or 12-1 and they are in a BCS game.

 

I would have put UC in over Iowa by a longshot, if that would have been possible.

BK just said on the bowl selection show live. Something along the lines of. It would have to be something incredible for me to leave. They asked his definition of incredible. He said alot of things would be considered like; not having to rebuild a team, family, and a big school with alot of tradition. He said some other things as well just can't remember. He then talked about how he finally got to see his daughter play soccer for the first time in 6.5 weeks. After the way he talked tonight I don't think he will leave for Notre Dame. He seems to be a family man and his family likes where they are.

However I do think if Urban left Florida for Notre Dame and Florida approached BK he'd Be more likely to take that one.

So when someone on the national scene tells you so, it makes it where "you can tell us, without question"? Wow...

Not have to rebuild? Check.

- They have talent, just uncoached talent. Probably more than Cincinnati does.

 

Family? Check.

- Not sure what he means by this. Anywhere he would move he would have to move his family.

 

Big School with Lots of Tradition? Check.

- Notre Dame is one of the most tradition-rich schools anywhere.

I guess that's where we differ. When I say "without question" I'm saying it as a witness, not from a third party. Also, BK needs to reconsider his choice in agents if he'd talk with someone who talks to someone, who talks to someone...

They can technically lose 3 games and still get in, if they finish in the top 8 of the final BCS rankings.

Sounds like a coin toss of Kelly and Edsall.. Edsall is probably just waiting on BK to call and say its all yours!

BK did an interview on the Dan Patrick Show, I did not hear it, but they were saying they think he is less likely to return to UC after having the interview. Here is the interview..

They just broke with that over ESPN.

Edsall is gaining a ton of steam from the ND side, and apparently is meeting with Swarbrick today. As far as I know they have been in talks with BK, but have not offered him the job...
