Simpson has division 1 offers. Hayden has no offers of anykind.

They WERE a lot better. The Bulldogs drove 4 hours, to a hostile environment, and still almost beat LCA. I give them great credit for that.

That's why we don't let Bluto do the STATS. I think what Bluto meant to say was Hazard spent 4 hours total on the road traveling that Friday evening, 2 hours each way. We made that trip last year... and coming back felt like 8 hours after the loss. :ohbrother:

That's what I figured...it really is amazing what LCA has done in a few decades! Mayfield will tell you the key to successful football is starting early like 3rd grade...they run the same plays in 3rd grade they do your 12th grade year!

 

 

I agree on the youth sports/JFL type programs. I believe those are the foundation for building a football "program" and not just a good team every once in a while. I would be willing to bet that most if not all sucsessful football programs that are sucsessful year in and year out will have a good youth program in place. I know the Raceland jfl program is very good, our only problem is that we don't have the number of kids that some places do and that is no ones fault, just the size of he communities that feed it.

To all the LCA fans on here......I know that you know that you don't have to but by reading some of these post it seems like some are trying to make excuses as to why they lost to LCA. There is only one reason why anyone lost to LCA this season and that is you were beaten by a much better football team, end of story. LCA fans have nothing to explain or defend, this season they were better than everyone else and that is the reason they won.

I am saying that from the view of a team that was beaten soundly (twice) by LCA. My Raceland team certainly wasn't a great one this season but imo they certainly weren't a bad team either.

LCA was just that good and I for one give them their due. :thumb:

Ok, you won, I have gave deserved credit. I am just proud we made it to the game. I would have loved to have won but it was not to be this year but we return the bulk of this team and have a great chance at getting a title next year.

Yes I did see Danville. And ran track against Kelvin. And trust me I've been beaten by plenty of Beechwood/New Cath teams. That's why I said ONE of the best and not the best.

 

I have a question if you played for Raceland how were you beaten bye Beechwood lately? Beechwood played Raceland in the 84 playoffs and we didn't play them at all during the 90's. I know Beechwood played them a few years back in the playoffs did you play on that team?
