Unfortunately, it is Chad for all the wrong reasons.

Nationally I can see CJ as the face but CP is the key to this team. He may not be Manning, Brady or Brees but he's a very solid QB.

If you say anyone but Chad you're lying to yourself.

 

Marvin is the only one that can even be logically considered as an alternative to Chad on a national level.

I think when I here people that know what they are talking about with football it would be Palmer. If you like the Enquirer magazine type stuff then it would be Chad. For football people it's Palmer IMO.

I went with Palmer but I think it could just as easily be Chad Johnson. He gets alot of media times as a Bengals all star wide receiver so people certainly know who he plays for.

Larry Johnson is a big name, if he gets a spark he could possibly be soon.

I think if you poll most people across the country they will say Chad Ochocinco, just because he gets so much media time. I would prefer that they say Carson though, I think he is a close second.

It may be a different story nationally, but it's the story that matters. Bengals fans want to think of CP as the face of the franchise because they're embarrassed by Chad.

For me, its Carson Palmer. That may not be the case with the majority. But, when I think of Cincinnati, Palmer is the first guy who comes to mind, and he's the single biggest key to them being successful.
