Lane Kiffin Sends Some Bulletin Board Material

What did you expect him to say "On the way to lose to UK?"

On the way to tie UK so nobody has to lose and we all leave as friends.

He quickly changed it to "on the way to Kentucky".

Lane Kiffin is a tool.

Most mature coaches would just keep their mouths shut :thumb:

I didn't get any Tweets from Rich Brooks about beating UT.

Kiffin's tenure at Tenn. has been rough thus far, but who cares?

This isn't bulletin board material for the team. It's material for the fans.

You don't think this would inspire a football team? How is it not bulletin board material for the team?

I don't think SEC athletes need additional motivation. Isn't a losing streak for the past 23 consecutive years enough?

What about the possibility to beat UT and go to the Outback Bowl?

Like I said, it's bulletin board material for those who post on the message boards and read the paper. I doubt it provides much extra motivation for the players.

The whole bulletin board material stuff is way overrated.

25 straight losses should be inspiration enough... :thumb:

You ain't a kidding. :thumb:

Kiffin is sort of becoming a parody of himself. Hard to take him seriously outside of the borders of Knoxville IMHO.

I don't think the Cats need anymore motivation then they already have. A reporter with the team after the UGA win commented that it seemed a very subdued celebration when they headed out of Athens. Like they had a mission that wasn't over yet. Hope he was right.

Beating UT would be enough, ... but hearing Kiffin's comments AFTER a defeat to UK, would be priceless!!

Probably the best take I've ever read on such a topic.
