November 28, 200916 yr You don't think this would inspire a football team? How is it not bulletin board material for the team? If UK needed this to be inspired then they were already beat.
November 28, 200916 yr It's like our high school coach say's, things like this can motivate you for a play or two, IMO your goals motivate you the rest of the way...
November 28, 200916 yr I don't think SEC athletes need additional motivation. Isn't a losing streak for the past 23 consecutive years enough? What about the possibility to beat UT and go to the Outback Bowl? Like I said, it's bulletin board material for those who post on the message boards and read the paper. I doubt it provides much extra motivation for the players. Agree whole-heartedly.
November 28, 200916 yr Author Giving bulletin board material doesn't suggest that a team NEEDS that to be motivated. It simply means that Kiffin made an ignorant statement on Twitter that was almost immediately corrected. In no way did I suggest that UK just couldn't get motivated for the game Saturday until Kiffin made this post on Twitter. I guarantee you that it would be no surprise at all to see that written on the board today in the locker room - it happens all over sports at every level. That's why the best policy is to keep your mouth shut if you have something stupid to say.

I also don't think it'll matter one iota. Like I said, bulletin board material is for the fans and message boards.
