Samuels has got to get better finishing in traffic at the rim. He's got the body for it, but as an "under the rim" post it is a priority for UL to have that kind of season. I also think Jennings needs to have a big season alongside Samardo for UL to get where it wants to be. Swop and Buckles will be solid, but another post presence, especially on D, is going to be needed in the long term. They will be fine at the 1, 2 and 5 but how the 3 and 4 spots perform will be the key IMO...

UL has enough guards but I think their Achillies Heel is going to be at the forward positions. Someone has to help Samuels out and I think they are going to struggle on the boards against stronger teams.

Impressive start, but Arky had no chance versus pressure without their two primary ball handlers.

Isn't that what I said??? :idunno:

Just agreeing with you.

When Arky got into some semblance of a half court set they were able to go at them in the post.

Still think their guards are a tad small. Siva has a really bright future...not sure Sosa has improved much since he has been there.

Just making sure since everything I say in this forum lately has been attacked from one side or another.

Ul has a very solid roster, but making the puzzle pieces fit is going to be a work in progress early in the year. Seeing most of the Big East struggle to fight for wins across the board shows they will be in the mix, but the margin for error will be pretty thin across the board this year...

I picked UL to win this one, but WOW! That was an impressive opener! Arkansas lacks any depth, and UL exposed that. Good start for the Cards.

How did the freshman PG look for the Cards? I can't remember his name, but the guy that us UK fans will love to hate.

I know people responded with Siva, but I think you are talking about Mike Marra.

Oh don't get all crappy with me young man. :p:p I have no problem with a tattoo or two (with the exception of tramp stamps) but there comes a time and point that enough is enough. Sorry if that makes me a prude. :D

By the way....glad to see the Cards win.

Sounds like a good showing for the Cards:thumb:

Last year's 3 and 4 were the #11 and #14 picks in the NBA draft...isn't there generally some questions to answer when you lose lotto picks? :idunno:

You are correct. That is who I was talking about. Is he a PG, or a 2G?
