Hartline went through a full practice today and went through the whole offensive scheme per Coach Brooks. But he did not commit yet.

Newton please, please, please.

Since you have already used up his redshirt year this year...to me you have to start Newton this coming Saturday, especially the way he has improved the past few weeks...then if he does not have success you can bring in Hartline for a possible spark against Vandy.

Not knowing Newton's psyche I would not think you could do it the other way by starting Hartline and then bring in Newton seeing how he has lead UK to 2 wins in three starts...although I know that Cobb had the decisive series in the Auburn game in the Wildcat offense...plus with Newton in you could split him out wide in the Wildcat and actually have to have the defense know where he is on the field instead of just having the QB as an afterthought in the Wildcat formation.

Just my two cents worth

Newton.

Stronger arm, better mobility in the pocket, won't always go down after the first hit, as well as the fact that he has the ability to run the ball when flushed out of the pocket and pick up some good yardage. Newton just brings more to the table IMO...

I would start Newton. If he struggles you could bring in Hartline to try and get a spark. If you start Hartline and UK loses, he will be totally beat up by the media, fans and everybody else. Then if UK loses to Georgia and Tenn. he would get it even worse. Newton is the future anyway, so start him and keep Hartline as a back up if he is needed. JMO.

If Hartline is 100% it's a no brainer. He actually looked good in the SC game until he was hurt. I truly believe if he doesn't get hurt they win that game. Other then against EKU when did Newton look that impressive?

Hartline healthy or unhelathy he's a lost cause look to the future, we need Newton to gain experience if UK want this program to move forward at all cause right now it's at a stand still.

Newton, IMO. He's more of the future than Hartline.

Sounds like you flushed the big blue toilet for this season...:idunno:

This is a must win game for UK. The coaches will go with who they think will give them the best shot to get the lead early.

Remember...Home of the Big Blue nation it's a bandwagon thang...

If the Quarterback Looses his job or gets hurt,He is getting thrown off of the wagon...But if He can come back and win that bowl game,He gets to drive the wagon...:dancingpa :ohbrother:
