SO, what is wrong with Collingsworth - it's his wrist, right, not his legs??? I only ask because above it was referenced that he was jogging, but heard from a Cov Cathian, it was his arm that was injured.

He had an injury to his hand. It is getting better and he should be back in action soon.

Collinsworth was in uniform for the Montgomery County game. He had his left hand bandaged. It was a relatively small bandage.

I remember this well. There is a difference between the 02 team and 09 team. Depth!!!!! HHS was not suppose to make it past Lex Cath that year. They caught them by suprise....Still to this day I think Rockcastle knew the play on every down....LOL!!!!!

 

As far as the Bolded part above.....Never happen!!!!!!

Speed kills my friend from a far away land....One of the main reasons HHS took it to St X that night. Period!!!!

 

And I almost forgot.....Depth!!!! You can get away with it playing your normal District schedule but in order to beat the Bigger schools you have to have it. The 2009 Birds have it....

Very good point...

 

As I recall it was a speedster,Reagan, ala Jordan Kramer, who single handedly tore up our defense on a wet and cold evening. I am not hearing about anyone on the horizon on the way to Bowling Green of that calibre. He may be out there, just not hearing any names surfacing.

I would be curious to see how many other schools besides HHS have had not 1, not 2 but 3 players not start and star at their respectful positions from 2008.

 

Austin Collinsworth....Defensive All State as a Soph. He could probably count on 1 hand how many times he has played Defense this year.

 

Brandon Roller...HHS's go to guy out of the TE spot last year. He has only played in Goaline situations as a blocker on offense.

 

Will Bardo...Started 15 games as a Junior at DB. Has not played 1 down on Defense this year.

 

I could probably go on and on but I won't

We no longer have players that play both ways...

 

Highlands= 11-0 at this point....The Highlands players are working very hard and getting the job done..
