  7. After a safety against HHS, now 34-29 HHS with 4:26 left
  8. Anybody having trouble getting the HHS audio? I am getting the Elder Internet video fine.
  9. For what it is worth... The "match up" on High School Sports Net...using Massey ratings...predicts a score of Highlands 34 Elder 32.
  10. Not a secret...just a reminder...one that apparently you didn't need. Good for you. Also, a reminder...for others perhaps...that the last time time these two teams met, Ryle led 14-7... with one play remaining in the first half...AT Highlands. As you know, Ryle is ranked number 3 in 6A...behind Trinity and St. Xavier. They can win this game. Again, as you know... Ryle has lost only one game this season...to HHS. A Ryle win makes football HISTORY for their program...that is a lot of motivation...on their home field. I hope HHS thinks they are the underdog...and plays like a team with alot to prove.
  11. I think it is appropriate to point out that HHS will NOT go undefeated forever...and that doesn't make me less of a supporter of HHS...just somewhat of a realist.
  12. Maybe nothing lasts forever....a fired up home team...Ryle... takes advantage of sloppy play, a key injury, and mistakes...by HHS... and a defense that isn't up to the task...it could easily happen...read it and weep...Ryle pulls off the upset!
  13. For what it is worth, Massey Ratings shows HHS 35 John Hardin 16....based upon a neutral site.
  14. Just so you know... In Class 5A... Dixie is #1 in team passing HHS is NOT in the top 15 in passing defense Dixie QB Ryan Wilson is #1 in passing Dixie has 3 of the top 9 receiving leaders... Josh Stegner #6 Bobby Leonard #8 Ben Haggerty #9 Don't underestimate any playoff team...Dixie has a lot to prove...and perhaps the means to do so.
  15. The HHS-Dixie game on October 2 was only 7-0 in favor of HHS at the end of the first quarter. At one point in the second quarter the score was 10-3 in favor of HHS. The game was closer than the 52-9 final score might indicate. Dixie had 200 yards rushing and 194 passing...that's not that shabby. Dixie quarterback Ryan Wilson was 19 of 34 for 162 yards and one INT. He also rushed for 118....and he also scored the Dixie touchdown and kicked the field goal. He's probably improved his game since October 2 and so have his receivers. Dixie lost 3 fumbles and had one interception. That's probably the key "stat" for the game. If Dixie can eliminate the turnovers...a big "if" against a stellar HHS defense...this could be a closer game than many think.
  16. Might also want to remember that 70.33% favored Cincinnati St. Xavier over HHS... Dixie might take a little lesson from how that turned out!
