November 5, 200916 yr I pretty much hate every team but the Yankees and the Marlins. I do however hate other teams more so than others. My favorites are the Yankees and the Reds.

Thanks. :thumb: For the Yankees to have brought those four on and kept them through the years imo is the key to the Yankees. When you have and have kept a core of Jeter, Posada,Rivera and Pettite (he left but we got him back) then you have four leaders for teammates, players coming in from the teams to NY and the younger kids coming up in the system to look to as an example of what it takes to be a Yankee and to win.

November 5, 200916 yr To see the Yanks bookend the decade with titles is awesome. This was the perfect way to open the first season in the new stadium. Taking out the defending champs doesn't hurt either! Matsui was clutch during this series; he seemed locked in even during his pinch hit at bats in Philly. He was incredible. A-Rod erased his post season deamons. He was a monster during this post season. I love seeing Pettite, Rivera, Posada and Jeter getting another title...5 rings for those guys!!! It is great to see the Yanks on top!!! I'm sure the haters will try to diminish this, but 27 titles any way you slice it simply says dominance and excellence! The Yankees are simply the best in baseball and they have the rings to prove it!
