They should go out and sign both Jason Bay and Matt Holiday.

He was the Phils best chance to win a few games late in the series. The others are role players. It bothers me when Yanks' fans brag about their "homegrown talent." It's not homegrown. Not even close. I don't have a problem with the Yanks spending the money - that is their prerogative. It is what it is. The Yankees would not have won the World Series without Alex Rodriguez or CC Sabathia. They're one of the few teams that can afford to have both players on the roster. AND then they still have Texeira.
November 8, 200916 yr Is anyone blaming the Yankees? I certainly have no problem with what the Yankees do. More power to them. My problem lies with MLB, and the obvious uneven playing fields it has created among it's teams. :thumb: :thumb:
November 8, 200916 yr I ordered my Yankees Dynasty T-Shirt today. I also took my hat with all the championship years to an embroiderer to add the 2009 year to my hat. Number 27 is so sweet!!! GO YANKS!!!
