I stopped the games on facebook after the knighthood one came out in '08. I played it and was horribly addicted to it. I decided if I wanted to be addicted to a game I could think of ones that were a little more in depth.

^^ Same for me. I always enjoy meeting BGP people, I'm usually not as bad in person  Anyone interested in an add just let me know, I'd actually love to add anyone on here that wants to.

I am usually close to the same in person. BGP tames me somewhat. Just ask rockmom.

I despise the games on Facebook. I wish they could get rid of them.

I don't play the games either but why do you care if they are there for those who do enjoy them. You can hide them if you want.

I wish I was. I come off as angry and a "know-it-all" to some, which I really regret. I really am not like that in person, I think it just looks like that when I type. I'm a lot more easy going when I'm not Cats .

I have been on there for 5 years or so, but I honestly have never played a game on facebook.

Why don't you just ignore them? I don't play them either but I don't want to ruin everyone else's fun .

Play neither but I'm addicted to facebook.

Same here.

Because every few weeks there is a new game and I have to block it. Then someone new gets facebook and sends me an invite. If there was a way to simply block all apps period (I'm hoping someone is going to tell me there is) then I wouldn't care. But I block them as they come along I just don't want to EVER see them.

I feel you. I make fun of any of my friends I see playing goofy facebook games.

But every week I find another closet Farmville player so there must be something to it.

I love Facebook, but I don't like the game apps either. People send me things to use in various games, and I feel obligated to accept them; but it's a huge hassle. I think I have over 70 notifications that I haven't even opened.

It is the annoying notifications that you can't ignore from the games. I wouldn't mind if you could block all those, but I haven't found a way to, I've been a member of facebook for 4 years and the games have just started being a big thing this last year in my network.

I joined a few months back and it is amazing the number of people on the site that you haven't heard from in years.

Can't explain it but I am addicted to Farmville (and would welcome a few more neighbors...pm me if interested). I don't play too many others, maybe Farkle but only when I am sitting watching tv. I am pretty good at not allowing it to control my free time.
