October 31, 200916 yr MT, I'm still picking up all the little pieces of brain and skull (oops, channeling Tarantino there). You should try the tune "Four Kicks" by Kings of Leon. It's got a great, catchy, almost-punk guitar lick that runs through the song that would go well for this purpose. Some of the lyrics to the song would be deemed questionable -- if you could understand them.

November 3, 200916 yr Author For our highlight we put baby pictures in our video. Most of the time it is a song about growing up and going away and I am stuck on what to use. IDEAS anyone? I have done that for years, and it is a great touch that the kids love. Show different pictures of them growing up. The kids and parents absolutely love it! As far as songs, you can almost always find a suitable current song that relates well to this portion of a video. I am currently looking for one now, and when I find some, I will post it on this thread!! If you think of any, just let me know!
November 3, 200916 yr A friend of mine found a great website, I am not sure if I can post it so if you want the link PM me. But 2 songs I found on there were: 100 Years - Five for Fighting and Time of Your Life - Green Day. I will probably use the 100 Years song. It is a good one. I am still looking for ideas though. I was talking to the older generation (football coaches) and they came up with Glory Days by Bruce Springsteen and Forever Young by Rod Stewart
November 3, 200916 yr For The Love Of The Game by Pillar.... Check out the lyrics: Consumed by reputation, It's what they say that gets you down, You find new motivation, Inside this new love that you've found, It's now your navigation, To keep your head engaged, oh yeah, Your final destination, Keeps you focused on the win [Pre-Chorus] Count me in, but don't count me out, You can't shut me up, you can't shut me down, Fight through the hurt, Fight through the pain, Without the ache there is no gain, We live our lives for the love of the game [Chorus] And we will rise, This is our time, Don't let the chances of our lifetime pass us by, And we will rise, This is our time, We'll give this everything we've got, For the love of the game Reach for a new elevation, And see just how high we can go, Full blown determination, Will take us further than we know, My own anticipation, Keeps the fire from burning out, It's time for domination, No one will ever take us down [Pre-Chorus and Chorus] [bridge] 'Cause I won't give up, I won't give in [Pre-Chorus and Chorus] For the love of the game You really need to check it out. It's rockin' and everything. Later.
