Pancake Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I can't believe they're 0-5... Poor 5 wide needs a win so he can change his avatar, some people already thinks he is a Steelers fan...
bugatti Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I have now been to both Titans' home games. It was obvious last night they have lost confidence and the "We want Vince" chants started mid-way through the third quarter. It is time to put him in and see if he can salvage some of the season. Remember his rookie year I believe Tennessee started 1-7 and with him in the lineup they nearly reached the playoffs. Who knows if that will work again, but they need to do something. Losing Haynesworth was the single biggest offseason loss for a team. Oh yeah, Peyton Manning is stupid good.

Lots of rumblings in Nashville that Chuck Cecil wont survive the season as DC and that Fisher may take over the defense.
The Scribe Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I also think their start this year shows just how much they went 10-0 last year using smoke and mirrors.
bugatti Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I also think their start this year shows just how much they went 10-0 last year using smoke and mirrors. 10-0 may have been too much, but they were a really good team with a smothering defense. Most of that team has returned. With the exception of Chris Johnson, who is a play maker for the Titans on offense? Although, offense has not been the biggest problem but it has been sputtering the past two weeks.

Call me crazy, but I honestly think he will end up being the greatest to ever play his position.
Original Rookie Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Call me crazy, but I honestly think he will end up being the greatest to ever play his position. Well crazy, I definitely think he has a good shot. He needs at least one more championship though. His consistency over the years is unbelievable.
Italian Stallion Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Call me crazy, but I honestly think he will end up being the greatest to ever play his position. Its hard to disagree with you. If he gets another ring I think its in the bag.

spindoc Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Tons if issues on both sides of the ball. Notwithstanding the acquisition of Nate Washington from the Steelers and they paid him a pile of caish and he can't catch H1N1.

stick1 Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 DCoord and Haynesworth were huge losses no pun intended. I think you have to give Vince a shot right now.

IDK but maybe now I can get season tickets b/c I tried after last season and it wasn't happening.
