Just finished watching "Survive and Adavance" chronicling the 83 NC State run to the NCAA championship. It included a very moving tribute to Jim Valvano. Also, including the ACC and NCAA tournaments that year, NC State trailed in 7 of 9 games in the final minute only to wind up winning them all. This one is a must see.

Wasn't that the same year the ACC used the painfully easy, painfully short 17-9 3-point line?

Yes I think 83 was the 1st year for the 3 pointer in college.

It was only in the ACC if memory serves. The whole NCAA used the 3 for the first time in 1987.

That one was one of my favorites.

I believe the one about Randy Moss is coming up Tuesday.

Please tell me it's called "Straight Cash Homie"?.

Haven't seen the previews yet but sounds like something I have to watch.

Rand University.

Can't wait to relive some of my Marshall days watching this one tonight...

I'd say Marshall was a fun place to be back in those days. Him and Pennington were superstars, they were thrashing everyone in football, must have been a good time. Plus, even if it's barely across the border it is WV, and WV really puts the "wild" in wild and wonderful.

Used to drive through Belle, Rand, Anstead, Rainelle back in the day before I-64 was complete. That was the quickest way to get from Charleston to Washington DC.

Billy D and White Chocolate were there when I got there as well. Good times...

Rand University was phenomenal...

Rand University was excellent, although it was before my time at Marshall it was good to watch.
