November 12, 201411 yr Rand University was excellent, although it was before my time at Marshall it was good to watch. I got there in 95 so it was right in my wheelhouse. What he did in those two years was absurd...

November 12, 201411 yr Last night was what 30 for 30 is supposed to be about. Loved that the show was about Moss up until his NFL career began. Interesting stuff. Such an odd cat. It is debatable as to where he belongs on the all time WR ranking lists, but no doubt he could have been #1 had he wanted to.

You weren't always sure when he was going to be giving full effort.

Oh, he WANTED to be #1 of all time...problem is he wasn't WILLING to do what it took to be so. Just like kids I have coached in basketball. They always WANTED to win all the games they played, they just weren't WILLING to do all it took to try and do so.

November 12, 201411 yr I'd take him over any WR ever. I'd take Rice over him, but he'd be in the conversation. He was the "free-est" runner I've ever seen. In practice at Marshall, he looked like he was on cruise control, and still so far ahead of anyone else it was silly. And that Marshall team had some guys that could haul.
November 12, 201411 yr "Straight cash, homey." Still one of the top lines of all time. :lol2: I crack up just thinking about it.

He easily could've packed his bags and ran back to South Charleston after everything went sour at ND. I almost think he lost interest there at the end.
November 12, 201411 yr Billy D and White Chocolate were there when I got there as well. Good times... That's awesome, I didn't know if they were already at Florida or not. I knew Moss and J Will had went to school together I assumed they were the same age. But J Will was a human highlight film in those days, I have an And 1 mixtape with clips from J Wills Thundering Herd Days.

A large percentage of people would. Not this guy though. Moss made average QBs great and he made great QBs legendary. He made a lot of QBs a whole lot of money also. Montana and Young made Rice legendary. More Moss please.
November 12, 201411 yr Can't wait to watch Rand University. Grew up not too far from Huntington and loved watching him play. One of my all-time favorites.
