Yeah, in December....keep in mind we didn't get waxed.....I was right there in the mix, and saw things I wanted to see...

No he didn't.....no way he runs a 4.4 in pads late in a game....

 

I don't know what his time in the 40 is but I do know this he is the fastest kid in the Louisville area. I think the Tigers need to work him in on offense. He seems to find his way to the end zone every game with very limited touches.

I think the encouraging thing about this win for St.X is that they did not play their best, had many mistakes, left a lot of the play book on the shelf, ran a conservative defense, and still won the game. I really think when it is crunch time (December) this team will be able to move the ball on anyone if all stay healthy. The big difference between this T team and those of the past few years is in inability of the QB to scramble or run the ball.

I think Trinity has better coaches than St. X. The Tigers seem to win the regular season game, only to have Trinity win the title game. It seems Trinity's coaches do a much better job of making adjustments for the second game.

Good win for the Tigers. Beuhner is the best quarterback X has had in a long time. He is by far their best player and is very good.

 

I was surprised Trinity was able to throw the ball as well as they did against a much acclaimed X secondary. Surprisingly, Trinity gained 390 yards, which is the most it has totalled against the Tigers since 2000.

 

X has guys with game breaking speed. Trinity does not.

 

With all that Brad Kragthorpe has going on in his life, his performance was masterful. He threw the ball very well, especially on out routes and his ball fakes were tremendous. If you have the opportunity, watch his movements on the play action touchdown pass that was called back.

 

While it still ended up being a 25 point margin, the game was much closer than I expected it to be. That was the best Trinity's offense has looked against St. X in the regular season in quite some time.

 

Well the 6 game gauntlet is over and the Rocks are 2-4. Hopefully, these games against quite formidable opponents will help mold this young team into a solid unit that can compete for a state title.

I heard it was a sloppy game for both teams.

 

My buddy said the difference was the St X QB and their ability to jam Trinity's running game.

My thoughts and prayers to the entire Tutwiler family. I have information on his injury but do not really know if it is appropriate to post on here.

I thought both teams were way down from 2005 & 2007. If T turned around the 2005 season, then there is absolutely no reason to think they can't turn this one around also. One might say that it is "St. X's to lose", but they have found ways to lose with better teams than what they have this year. That said, they were obviously better on Saturday. If fact, people often want to point out that T's coaching staff is better (a lot of my X friends concede that), but I think that T got out coached. The first half could have easily been 17-6 Trinity - it was very evenly played. The second half X coaches made adjustments and T didn't respond. X dominated. Tons of weak side blitzes that didn't get picked up by T, and the X offense exploited T weaknesses that they saw in the first half and T kept running the same defense. Over the past few years I have gotten to know Beatty just a little (through a friend - I don't have a son who plays). I think he is a fantstic role model who happens to be a fantastic football coach. Yes, it's his way or the highway, but is that so bad a lesson to learn? He'll have T ready. December will feature T vs. X in a KHSAA payday and it will be a one score game, winner is a coin flip.

I found out this morning that all is well and he should have 100% recovery. I know the details as well but will keep it private. Just wanted all to know that he is going to be OK.

I'm actually shocked on the lack of posts in this thread.

Even more shocked about the lack of thoughts or prayers sent to the young man that was injured for St. X. :confused::confused:
