I think we all forget - that WE (both T & X) have been extremely fortunate through the years to have avoided serious injuries - given the hard hitting nature of this contest. I am truly sorry that this had to be the year to be the exception.

AT this stage one would have to like X's chances to be there for the season's last game - but if I was him I would really want to wait until I had that Trophy firmly clutched in my arms before I was so bold.

I agree, take it one game at a time until there is no one left to play, trophy in hand then do some talking! Until then keep your head down and focus.

I don't believe that the Tigers left anything on the shelf as far as offensive plays go, Buehner has not run the ball very much all year and Glazier even stated in a Courier Journal article they were saving him so that he does not get hurt. So Beatty and Co. got to see him running at his best and the score was still 13-6 late in the game, so go ahead and get your hopes up but remember Beatty and Co. win in December every year and I don't see it any different this year. Go Rocks. Does anyone know about the injured player as far as his condition? :jump:

He did not run much, but he was not sacked much either, seemed to always get the short yardage when needed and he had a very good OL. T has just always had an elusive QB the last few years who ran around until the coverage broke down and then hit an open man. T has also had some very big , good LB's the last few years that make it hard to run. T has also had a RB & WR who could score at any time, I just don't see that this year.Maybe they can win in Dec. but I think St.X will have and the edge again.
