Absolutely huge game to say the least. This is a key district game for both teams. Boyle County(6-0) coming off a huge win against Lafayette, 48-6. Lexington Catholic(4-2) coming off it's bye week to get prepared for the unbeaten Rebels. These Boyle County/Lexington Catholic games are usually ALWAYS intense! So that brings up this question, who wins? Why?

Could a mod please add a poll? I forgot to do it myself. :ohbrother:

Poll added. That is one heck of an avatar, by the way.

Boyle win going away. 38-10

BIG BIG Game for the Rebels.

Boyle will be entering what looks like the toughest part of their schedule with the remaining four teams all having winning records. (East Jessamine is at .500 I believe) These games will go a long way to determine how far the Rebs can go in the playoffs. IMO, beating Lafayette convincingly, after the Generals came off a big win over Henry Clay, was the best quality win for French's boys.

I look for Boyle to win this one but it will probably be the usuall Lex Cath-Boyle dog fight. If the Rebels paste the Knights, Boyle will have a lot of confidence going into the remaining stretch and into the post season.

Go Rebs! :ylsuper:

Before the Lafayette game, I thought this may be a 2-3 td game, now I think Boyle will win by 4-5 tds. I think they are clicking on all cylinders right now and that they will continue to get better every week. The fact that LexCath has been unable to stop the run all year is also something that makes me feel like this could get ugly. I could be wrong, but for now, that's how I feel.

Quite a testament to the Rebels that - in a game against a power like LexCath - 15 of 15 voters so far favor the Rebs.

Great game. I think that Boyle win win this one 28 to 14. It will be closer than most people are thinking Lex. Cath has a great staff and will have their team ready to play come Friday night.

2 factors really right now:

1. Lex Cath has not shown that they are the power we are used to seeing in the Knights.

2. Boyle has shown themselves to be a pretty balanced offense last night and a great defense all year.

Beating a quality foe like the Generals by a resounding 48-6 (after getting behind 6-0 on the opening KO) speaks the loudest for the Rebels so far this year. There were some on here who actually felt the score would be closer than ever and the Lafayette Defense would slow Boyle down. (but we won't name all of them :D)

I still would expect a war on Friday but I can see where the evidence points more in the Rebels favor than ever this year. :thumb:

Hey, I CONFESS. I thought Boyle would defeat the Generals, but I expected a much closer affair. I think LexCath is better than Lafayette, but I expect Boyle to win this game, perhaps by a lot.

Boyle Co. by 21. Running game and Special Teams will be the difference. Oh yea, and don't forget about the strong D the Rebels have.

Not disagreeing with your prediction at all, but every game for Boyle County someone says that the game will be closer than some think. However, something tells you're right on this one because of the Boyle County/Lexington Catholic rivalry. These games are usually exciting, intense and close. Can't wait for it!

I feel bad for Lexington Cath. not having any votes,so I gave them one,but we all know who going to win the game.:D
