I beleive this was a rainy cold night on the old grass field, not the new turf?

That was a second round playoff game as well, right? Wasn't that the only year since Beatty has been at Trinity that they didn't make the state finals?

I would love nothing more but I think we will be waiting until next season. this team is just to young in the spots that are most critical for us to win. If Noe stays healthy the rest of the season and can get a good feel for the total offensive package we can still make a run.

Can somebody fill me in on running back Xavier Thomas? Has he been injured? I expected him to have a great season following Tim Phillips. I really haven't seen his name much on here or in the newspaper.

Dang, I didn't realize this game was coming up so fast. I was hoping to be there, but I can't go with our big game being the same night. Guess I'll have to see my Trinity and BG crew in December. :idunno:

I don't think he meant it in the terms you are taking it. Someone said if they don't have a big imrovement, it would be a long year. He was just saying "technically" it would be a short year. I definately don't think he was bad mouthing T, because I don't think any X fan can say anything bad about T until they win the game that matters IMO. For the game, I see it being a really close game with Trinity winning late in the game. Beatty will get this team back on track and make a run for the ring this year, I just don't see them winning it all this year. Just too young and inexperienced. I would never underestimate Beatty though, he will find away to have them competing at an unbelievable level by seasons end.

Of all people - that gentleman (PL) should know better than to underestimate the Rocks. But it all starts (again) tomorrow night.
