I'm not giving up on this bunch. They have played the toughest schedule in Trinity history to date. They are young and beat up but they will be there in the end.

Amen, Brother!:ylsuper:

I'm sure no one, not even the X men, are counting Trinity out. We have all seen it year in and year out how Coach Beatty reinvents the team during the course of the season. He is already at work making changes and we'll see how its going against BG. I think Noe will do very well. He seems to have the swagger needed to play QB at Trinity.

Great post.

I think T wins tonight.

GO ROCKS.............time to get back on track I concure about Coach B ---wouldnt trade he and the staff for anyone...........if it can be done -- they can and will do it.

All the naysayers can laugh all they want...PL and the others can just go count the trophies in their case.

Start tonight.

The meat grinder continues for the Rocks this Friday. Can BG take down the Rocks this Friday and become the only Kentucky team besides St. X to beat Trinity since Dixie Heights in 2004?

Thats becouse they don't play Highlands! :ylsuper:

Does Trinity broadcast the games on radio anymore? I don't see it listed in the paper.

Trinity leads the series 3-0. I was a sophomore in 1974 when we lost to the Shamrocks 26-0 in our Homecoming. We didn't play again until that incredible game two years ago at Marshall Stadium. We hosted them last year, and that ended a 22 game win streak at Donaldson Stadium/Beard Field for the Purples. Remember, this is from BGHS's Official Football Historian.

BGHS is on an emotional high after that amazing game against Owensboro last week (26-21). We still trail that series 38-27-2, and the consensus on both sides feel that we will meet again, most likely in the 5A Region One Championship at the Dungeon. But this game was one of the greatest games in that long series.

The Purple camp feels like they are ready for Trinity...it has been a great week of practices. The Purples can score from any place on the field. The defense has already chalked up three TDs and two Safeties. Special teams are vastly improved over the last few seasons. You can't concentrate on one facet of the game on defense because they can still beat you through the air. Knowing all of this, I look for a tight game that could go to the last play of the game. I think that the Purples win a tight one and get the first win over Trinity. Like the Owensboro game, both sides would have to be congratulated on another great game! Good luck to both sides...wish I could be there tonight, but the prospect of rain precludes me from using my motorized wheelchair...the rain would short out the control panel on it.

:D

If anybody's interested in getting me six programs and cover them with a plastic bag so they'll stay nice, let me know by PM!

:D
