My thoughts would be that Kentucky teams are better served to stay on this side of the river! :D

Congrats to my fellow Chili eaters. Once again flexed your muscle!

You can put the top 3 teams from Cincinnati against the top 3 from any other city in the country in any given year. This is no shocker.

There is still plenty of power in Columbus and Cleveland as well. Top 3 state in football all around.

One would conclude that Cincinnati has better teams at the top level. I don't know if that would hold true every year but probably in most, including 2009!

About what I expected...

It goes much deeper than the top level.

Moe vs. Male would be ugly.

Winton Woods vs. Fern Creek would be ugly.

Anderson vs. Seneca would be ugly.

I like that!!!!:laugh::laugh::laugh:

Much better level of football in Cincinnati and Ohio in general than in Louisville and Kentucky. No surprise in tonight's outcomes.

That being said, while I was impressed watching Elder tonight and they are indeed very good, I have a hard time believing they are the third best team in the entire country.

They aren't...it's a farce. They aren't even the best team in Ohio, maybe not even the city.

They will lose in the playoffs. Probably not to Colerain but to someone, I assure you. They aren't nearly as good as people are hyping them up to be. Let's put it this way: I'd love for my Cards to have another shot at them OUTSIDE their comfy confines of the Pit and WITHOUT a GCL crew of refs.

All in due time...all in due time...

Did you happen to see the final score of the Highlands (KY) and Withrow (OH) score? It was 21-0 in favor of the HHS birds!! Now in case you didn't know,Highlands is not in L'ville,so when HHS plays Cinti. X in two weeks, you might want to hold that thought until the game is decided on the field.Looks to me like this little (3A actually) school took your big boys to the woodshed,with a big goose egg on the Ohio side of the scoreboard!!! :ylsuper:
