I'm already weak at RB but I want to offer this trade that will more than likely be accepted:

My thoughts:

 

Honestly I just can't trust DeAngelo because of Jonathan Stewart. Not to mention Jackson could be a BEAST this year.

 

What I could gain:

 

Brees is a lock for another solid 18 or so points a week. Romo is not. Jackson is at risk of injury, as always, and I could receiver a better value back.

Is the upgrade at QB worth trading a RB that could put up some decent stats this year

I can't believe anyone would accept that trade. Is he/she a Panthers or Cowboys fan? The RB swap is fair enough, but Brees is almost a sure thing and there are some questions about Romo with TO gone.

 

As for DeAngelo and S-Jax...

 

Williams is a great back. I wouldn't worry about him losing carries and yardage to Stewart...what scares me is how many TD's Stewart will take away. The Panthers are committed to run and they have a dominating offensive line. He should have another strong season.

 

Jackson may be the most talented RB in the league. He's big, strong, fast, and catches the ball very well. The Rams will feed him the ball this year, but their line is questionable, their QB looks washed up and injury prone, and nobody would know any of their receivers if they hadn't picked Keenan Burton.

Depends on who your RB's are? Do you have enough depth to spare one? If so, it's a good trade, IMO.

I don't trust Williams this year. Neither does he. He said he wanted Steven Jackson and I said are you willing to give up Brees and he said yes. I offered that and he said it looked ok and he'd think about it.

My personal opinion (trying to predict the future)...is that Williams and Jackson will both have very good years...I think both will be top 5 fantasy RB's. I think Brees will have another 4000+ yards and 25+ TD's...

 

I'm not sure about Romo though. I think he'll be good, but not as good as Brees. So, you can flip-flop the RB's and I'd still take the combo with Brees. He's the guy that sways the trade one way or the other. The RB's are relatively even.

So I just chatted with him and he decided after the Roy E. Williams injury he doesn't want Romo anymore. But I turned around and offered.

I wouldn't even contemplated trade 1. I think you'd be trading more points than you'd be receiving. As far as the 2nd trade, I love Brees and I could live with Romo but Lendale is the only depth you have at RB. White is at least a 10 TD guy and that can be a very good thing to possess if one of your starters have a bye.

I like both trades a lot.

 

Trade 1-I don't like Farve as a fantasy qb, Smith is on the Lions and they will pass more than they will run, and Wayne's best years are behind him. I like Slaton a lot and Roddy White is currently better than Wayne. Sanchez doesn't matter because in Trade 2-you get Drew Brees- nuff said.:thumb:
