August 25, 200917 yr Actually the WR corps is as follows: Jennings White Johnson Holmes V Jackson L Robinson Start 2-3 WR's. If he can start Jennings, White, and Johnson then he is definitely giving up way too much for a "possible" future back up for Brady years down the road.
August 25, 200917 yr :thumb: I wouldn't worry about it right now. Brady will be an elite QB for several more years. Jennings should be an elite receiver for several more years as well. I just wouldn't give up that value. He could easily be a top 5 producer at that position. I don't know if you are one of the owners in the trade, the commish, or simply just another member of the league...but if both owners agree on the trade, I would definitely allow it to go through even though one side is getting a clear advantage.

August 25, 200917 yr This year has been the hardest I can remember to rank players...after Adrian Peterson, there's at least 5 RB's that you could draw from a hat, IMO. And, the thing that makes Peterson the relatively clear #1 is the "safety" factor. I could easily see another of those backs producing more than him, but there's more risk. With AP, even if you don't get the top producer, you are most likely getting a top 5, and you really need certainty with those early picks.

Plus with All Day, you have a lot of consistency problems as he is prone to produce very little points some weeks. Every player has bad weeks. But, Peterson is safe because he's the clear #1 in a rushing offense with a good line, and he'll get his touches. He had 20+ carries in 11 of 16 games last season...in the other five he had 19, 17, 18, 19 and 17 carries. He produced double digit fantasy points in 11 of 16 games...the other five produced 7, 4, 6, 8 and 7. He's about as safe as you can get in 2009 Fantasy Football. I don't know if I'd pick him #1 or not, just because I don't care to go with my gut and pick the guy I think will be the best. I wouldn't advise that strategy in fantasy football though...the risk/reward isn't worth it.

It's hardly a blockbuster deal, but I like Hightower better than Greene. Greene is a rookie that the Jets "love", but he's buried behind Jones and Wasington. Unless injuries ravage the Jets, he won't be a factor in 2009. Hightower, on the other hand, will be the Cardinals starter when the season begins and even if Beanie supplants him, he'll be a bigger factor than Greene. He'll still likely get some PT and goal line carries.

I didn't check your roster...having Beanie makes it a great trade. I liked it regardless.
August 26, 200917 yr I am picking last in the 1st and 1st in the 2nd. Back to back picks. These are picks 14 and 15, then of course I have to watch as 26 more picks go before I get to go again. Any suggestions or advice?
