I have it from a very good source that he was to enroll at Fairview today. Will he be eligible? I guess the rumors of Rose Hill not having a team are the reason behind this move? Anybody have any more info on what is going on at Rose Hill?

I have heard the same thing. I wonder also if there will be eligibility issues.

I may have shut down the previous thread prematurely the other day. I have several things in the past couple of days that lead me to believe that the KHSAA could come down hard on Rose Hill, and former coach Tim Fraley. I hope this isn't the case, but there is obviously something going on.

That is exactly what I heard, I heard the KHSAA was going to do a lot. and that the tuition at Rose Hill went up dramatically. This was second hand information, so I was waiting on confirmation. This may just be the beginning.

Hmm. Since we've crossed this line, I'll go ahead and spill my guts on what I've been told, some first hand, some second hand. This whole issue stems from the former coach Tim Fraley and some mis-steps he took while at the helm at The Hill. These aren't allegations of wrong-doings that need to be reported at the KHSAA, lest I break the rule #4, because they've already been reported and are on record. Sadly, his issues will follow Rose Hill the rest of their days. I have no clue what will come of the issue with regards to anything punitive at Rose Hill, however, I hope that some of the junk pulled by the former coach comes back to bite him. Not only were things done to sink the ship there, I have it also on good authority that his ways haven't changed. Perhaps I should stop there so that I don't cross the line with the rules. Here's hoping that those who have done wrong get what's coming to them.

 

As for the kids, they will ultimately be the losers here. Shame that the sins of some infiltrate the lives of many others. Good luck to those kids no matter where they end up. Hope that eligibility issues don't arise from all of this if indeed that they will have to look elsewhere to play.:thumb:

I have just heard from the very best possible source that Rose Hill could receive possible fines, and put on probation (which would not include any post season ban), but Rose Hill will field a basketball team this year. That is if they don't lose all of their players to the surrounding area schools. As far as tuition is concerned, the tuition has been raised at least 3% to 5% for the past 25 years.

For HS students, how does that fit in with the KHSAA requirement for a legal change of residence if you transfer?

That would not be the reason in the above mentioned trasfer. If it is it is only because of the new KHSAA rule because the above mentioned player did not pay a tuition before.
