Hmm. Since we've crossed this line, I'll go ahead and spill my guts on what I've been told, some first hand, some second hand. This whole issue stems from the former coach Tim Fraley and some mis-steps he took while at the helm at The Hill. These aren't allegations of wrong-doings that need to be reported at the KHSAA, lest I break the rule #4, because they've already been reported and are on record. Sadly, his issues will follow Rose Hill the rest of their days. I have no clue what will come of the issue with regards to anything punitive at Rose Hill, however, I hope that some of the junk pulled by the former coach comes back to bite him. Not only were things done to sink the ship there, I have it also on good authority that his ways haven't changed. Perhaps I should stop there so that I don't cross the line with the rules. Here's hoping that those who have done wrong get what's coming to them.

 

As for the kids, they will ultimately be the losers here. Shame that the sins of some infiltrate the lives of many others. Good luck to those kids no matter where they end up. Hope that eligibility issues don't arise from all of this if indeed that they will have to look elsewhere to play.:thumb:

I have heard from a good source the reason Terry is transferring is due to reasons beyond his control. I heard his mother recently lost her job so this has to be due to financial reasons.

Goodness sakes, I was reading this thread on my new DingleBerry phone but don't know how to post from there, so I couldn't wait to get home, get my hairnet on, sit down with my jar of pickled pig's feet, and enjoy some fine reading. That Terry boy, mercy, he's got a load of talent, but hasn't been the best defender I've ever seen. Hopefully Cooksey Jr. can get him to get rid of the OLE' defense. If he can, all I can say is welcome to the land of the bullseye young Cooksey. You're instantly the regional favorite.

 

With regards to Rose Hill, I can't say one way or another about the source of their dilema, but I sure hope that all of those boys become eligible to play. Sure does seem like there is alot of chatter across Rt. 60 now. Bet there are lots of folks who have had harsh feelings and said some things that they can't retract that will open there folded arms wide and welcome some of those old nasty Rose Hillers over into their stable if it means some more wins this fall. Boy-O-Boy, how the scenery in this region will turn if in fact Rose Hillers spread out amongst the masses. Wonder how many text messages, phone calls, emails, letters, morse code, smoke signals (you get the drift) that have crossed the proverbial line in the past little bit as this carousel has turned? As the wise old Woodsy the owl refrained "the world may never know".
