July 31, 200917 yr I've never even heard of The Wire and I watch a lot of TV. But Arrested Development is my favorite even though I've only watched it on DVD after it got cancelled. Family Guy, Scrubs, and House would be my other favorites.
July 31, 200917 yr My favorite show is Rules of Engagement. Two & A Half Men, Weeds & Entourage are my favorites, although I'm not certain they'd be considered top shows of the 2000's.
August 1, 200917 yr I've never even heard of The Wire and I watch a lot of TV. It's not TV; it's HBO. But seriously, it was on HBO and finished its final season last year. It is without a doubt one of the two best shows I have ever watched. It's a little rough around the edges but, in a show about drug dealers and city cops, it's not going to be flowers and gumdrops.
August 1, 200917 yr Nobody likes Heroes?Did the first season, but then it got hard to follow. Like Lost. I can't do serial TV, because I can't guarantee I'll get to see every episode in the proper order. Heros, and 24 are things I have wait and watch on DVD. Lost simply Lost me and with the long waits between seasons, it wasn't worth keeping up with. I have other things going on. I like episodic TV, for that reason.
August 1, 200917 yr True Blood has been pretty good. The Shield, Lost, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Entourage, The Sopranos, Family Guy ,South Park, etc are all good as well.
August 1, 200917 yr It has a pretty good rep on this site as being the best show maybe ever. It was on HBO and there were five seasons. You should look into it. I really want to start watching The Wire. When I get the money, I'm going to buy the series based off of what I've heard. I better not be let down .
August 1, 200917 yr I think a great show is Dirty Jobs. I absolutely love it. :laugh: I have used this in the business dept when I sub...some are really great.:thumb:
