Was going to post the same thing, I thought all gas price problems were because of Bush.... hmmmmmmmmm

You could blame several people over the last 30 years but its hard to get 4.00 gas when people are getting laid off each month, WS doesn't like to hear that.

Using my Kroger card it was 2.19 in Frankfort yesterday.

That is a deal. I just got gas 10 mins ago in NKY for 2.54. Then again, NKY is always high.

I do find it ironically funny that for the past 8 years it was Bush's and the Republicans fault when gas prices went up.

Now that the Dems are in power in the WH and Congress, it is the speculators fault when gas prices go up.

That's funny right there and I don't care who you are!!

I know, Isn't it so ironic?:thumb:

I say we start right now by saying...

It's Hussein Obama's fault.

Just got back from Green River Lake, and we filled up for $2.28 down there. Up here in NKY, it's in the upper $2.50's.

Paid $2.39 in Destin, Fl. this evening.

Just saying that gas is yet to go over $3.00 a gallon as a national average since the new administration has came in.... Pretty sure this time last year I was paying WELL over $3 a gallon.

Just pointing that out

So, he might get a pass on the gas prices. But unemployment rate is over 10% when he said it would never get above 9 unless we did not act on his stimulus plan.

Gas is at around the $2.59 mark in NKy, and that is above the average price in the USA but most of the rest of the state the price is around $2.39/$2.49

Still makes no sense to me....Gas prices in Kentucky....

Bush did nothing to scare the speculators. Obama has already looked into new rules for them and talk of taxing oil companies if oil gets too high again. You gotta play hardball with crooks.

Speculators, oil companies, and OPEC drove us into the recession. If we want a double dip of the recession let oil go back to 100 bucks.

By the way gas jumped .20 cents over night in NKY (last night). NKY charges Chicago like prices.

It was 2.29 (2.19 with Kroger discount) 7:30am on Wednesday.

It was 2.46 at 4:40pm on Wednesday.

In Somerset.

My wife was just at a Shell station where she paid $ 2.47 or so for a gallon of gas and while she was filling up, the attendant came out and up'd the price into the $ 2.60's and said that it would be going up all weekend. What in the world is going on now that justifies this increase? I still say that the oil companies and the banks are the most crooked entities in this country and are a huge part of why we are in the tough economic times that we are.

Please explain this to me.

$2.39 in Richmond today, has actually been going down most of the week.
