One day at a time but I can tell you a faster version of the big J-load. I mean no disrespect, but either he got a lot better or I don't know how he did not start last year. He will get D1 attention, I have no doubts. He still needs to play a full season, but Wow the boy is going to have a heck of year with AC and the talent on this team. A strong arm nice speed and he holds the ball high and sets up real nice. Highlands have a boat load of talent and I am going to enjoy watching this group play. Talents at tight end, deep receiving corp, AC has special speed. The defense did much better and had a handful of picks. I was in awe and I do not impress easily but this was my first time to watch this year and they are truly loaded.

How has Roller looked coming back from his injury???

HHS was blessed to have 2 very strong qb's last year. No disrespect to Tony G but I thought Bardo threw a much better ball last year and that was just from watching him warm up.

Brandon looks great!! It looks like he has added some upper body weight and muscle. He looked like he was happy playing football again. Tough kid, looks like he is ready to put the pads on and go at it again. He had some nice catches at the 7 on 7 today. :thumb:

This wasn't a scrimmage, it was a 7-on-7 competition. Highlands has one preseason scrimmage against Male the week before the season begins. I believe they still have a couple more 7-on-7 competitions this month.

I know that one just signed with Miami and their top 5 will always be fundamentally sound and aggressive, but will they have the depth behind them when they face a very good St. X line. I hope so, nothing would be better during the regular season than for NKY's best team to drub one of Cincy's.

I mentioned it before and I really feel that this will be one of the best if not the best offensive line Highlands has ever had. They have four returning starters on the O-line, Schlosser, Grubbs, Combs, Roller or Welz if not both at TE's and they have talent to fill in the other two positions. It will be interesting to find out who will win the open starting spots on the O-line.

To answer the depth question, this team has depth at the line positions O & D which is going to help against the big boys!!!

Obviously that is always going to be a question mark when playing up. Let's hope so. Good to hear about Brandon Roller coming along!
