July 18, 200917 yr He deserves sometime to come back from his injury. And he is doing just fine right now. I will take 85 RBIs a year from him. He does that and we get a big bat in the OF it would make a would of a difference.
July 19, 200917 yr In evaluating Encarnacion, I think you have to give him a pass on his early-season struggles, since he was playing with a slight fracture in his wrist. At this point, Jocketty has to make a decision on him based on what he sees now and in the next 2 1/2 months.

July 26, 200917 yr Harang's falling hard after peaking a couple years ago. His downfall was rapid after being injured last season. He's making too much money for him to pitch like he has been. Bronson needs to be more consistent and I wouldn't mind dealing him if Volquez was healthy.

July 26, 200917 yr Sounds like the Reds are still pursuing Scott Rolen. I don't understand that. He is pretty much broken down. According to Fox Sports, one AL exec says the Reds are trying to cut some contracts and that there are not many takers for Harang and Arroyo because of their contracts and one scout said that Harang has not been the same since last May.
