You need to read it again. I did not say they did beat P-burg, I said they may would have beat them if they had better coaching, because there was a lot of good players on that team. I was just trying to say to these Leslie fans until they get better coaching, they will not win district, or get pass the 2nd. round.

With all due respect, 33 points is a LOT to make up with "coaching"...

 

Maybe that particular Leslie team might have been better suited to a different system, but I don't know.

Owensboro Catholic has proven me wrong in the past. I picked them to be in the finals in both 2002 and 2003 ...no dice either time.

true but it was 6-0 at halftime. Then the final is 33-0, now that is coaching.

Leslie struggle's with the vere and wing T formations. But, they will be more experienced this year almost all of the players have started a year atleast and most three. You all might not see it yet but maybe later on we can convience you. Im the first to admit we were very inconsistant last year and blew up against middlesboro. But I remember what happened the very first play of the game when everyone did their job it lead to a 60 yard touchdown run. This year from what i've seen at practice we are ready for some revenge. For all I know we will get beat todeath again but you will not seen many breakdowns from us as you did last year especially on the defensive side of the ball.

Middlesboro will have a MUCH better running game In 05 ,With the return of Ford,Earls,Hoskins and Russell you can look to see Middlesboro once again to be one of the top rushing teams In the State.

Leslie County should have a nice team but lets be honest they are not going to be a state championship contender. I hope they have a good season and make a run but in by unbiased opionion they are a 2nd round team at best.

I don't know, Leslie only lead Knott Central 6-0 at half either last year or the year before, I can not remember, it is about adjustments, conditioning, and most of all the heart of the kids on the field IMO. The coaches do their most important jobs during the week in preparation, not on Friday nights IMO.

It stinks when your teams Ft.Campbell and Trigg Co. never make it. Why is that? I have watched them several times and they are athletic, more athletic than Catholic. Why do they lose to Catholic every year? Please explain. What could it be? Quit reading the Catspause and these other media magazines, go out watch a game learn what the other team does. See how they play.

I agree it's not the coaches fault they do everything they can do to get ou ready by scouting out the teams you play that week and the way I remember we came out the second half and beat knott county pretty bad.
