Russell will definately be in there and whoever they are playing against it will be a dogfight cause' Russell is hungry they want it. They have came so close so many times but have lost.

Maybe because they have been so close so many times and lost? I really hope they can get over the hump this year. I would like to see Coach Mcglone go out on top! :thumb:

I'm not sure it wont but we're hungry and when all the other teams are down we are still dominant. I'm juss saying Russell is always in the running for state, I mean our coach averages 9 wins a season.

I'm not overlooking Russell at all. Simply asking what has changed to provide them with the best shot at a Title this season...

But it is a very interesting phenomenon and you know that I'm a stickler for details.

I explained it after their ranking so you will need to go back and read it but to save you the time I will tell you in one word-COACHING. Breathitt has one of the top head coaches in Eastern KY in Holcomb and IMO the top assistant coach in Eastern Kentucky in Chapman.

I believe it will come down to Russell and Belfry in the east and Ft Campbell or Trigg Co in the west.

Thats about what I think, too. At least I hope so.

 

I do believe at this point Russell would be a slight favorite in the East, with Ft. Campbell a big favorite in the West.

West: Owensboro Cath, Ft.Campbell, Trigg County

East: Belfry, Russell, Mercer Co, Leslie Co

As of now, Russell vs Ft. Campbell. The edge going to Ft. Campbell because of their great defense.
