Car Insurance?

Featured Replies

I just bought a new car and am shopping around for a new insurance policy. It seems as though the best deal that I am coming up from is Geico. Does anyone have an experience with Geico? If not, how about with any other online insurance companies? I've used Kentucky Farm Bureau for the last 13 years, but the price they gave me is significantly above the Geico quote.

I've had Geico for about five years and have had no problems. Haven't put any claims in, though.

If you've had good service from KFB, tell them what the Geico quote was. They may think twice about losing a long time customer.

My auto insurance and home insurance dropped significantly when I combined them with KFB...

I had Geico for 10 yrs or so. My premiums would go up gradually but nothing major. I only had one claim which was a total, and they took very good care of me.

I switched because Geico didnt like the high performance car I bought so I had to go elsewhere. Other than that I would still be with them.

I use Geico and like it. I think as a teacher, you also get a discount since apparently, the company originally started out as a governmental employees insurance company. I get an additional discount for being a member of NSTA too, so that may be of interest as well.

I've had two claims through Geico in the five or so years I've been with them. One for a broken window. I had no deductible for that. The glass company worked directly through Geico, so there was no extra hassle on my part. Also, more recently, I had a small accident during an ice storm. Again, Geico handled everything quickly. I'd definitely recommend them.

I have State Farm... They gave me the lowest rate BY FAR.

I have had Geico for about ten years and our daughter just got her license and it doubled. Went with Kentucky Farm Bureau and saved 600 dollars every six months.

I have found progressives rates alright.

We have Geico. Love them. They are very generous to military members.

Find an independent agent and get a quote from Grange.

It all depends on your age. KFB auto rates are horrible for anyone under 35 or so, and their agents will tell you that.

I have Progressive, and their rates were by far the cheapest. However, for our 3 vehicles, it just went up $300 for the year. :madman: Another however, they're still the cheapest.
