You act like UK is the only group that has fans like that, and most of what is said is regarding coaching, not the coaches personally. Of course Tubby was different, but that's for another thread. And yes, Pat Forde has been attacking Cal his whole career.

But seriously, in my experience the vocal alleged minority of UK fans take the cake. My point is, if Erin can't ignore what a columnist is saying, how do you think she's going to handle pumping gas at a Speedway and hearing two "fans" discussing her daddy in a negative way? UK fans STILL attack Pitino personally...and he's not even responsible for anything but a possible one game loss in most seasons. Erin needs to ignore the media, and DEFINITELY better learn to deal with the level of scrutiny that not only her father, but her family, will be under at UK. It's like being an amoeba on a slide under a microscope...and there's only one microscope and the whole class is clammoring to look through the lens and do their lab report.
May 30, 200917 yr I love these threads. The same three or four people attack UK (sometimes its justified) and the same three or four people defend them(sometimes its justified). This is one "average" UK fan that thinks she was wrong and hopefully will learn from this or it will be a rough couple of years for her.

When there's a UK thread, you can count on one thing...3-5 typical posters stirring the pot. Unfortunately, as a UK fan, there's always another thing...too many UK fans allowing their pots to be stirred by those 3-5. If you've been on BGP for awhile, you should be able to look at a thread title, see how many replies there have been and get the gist of it in terms of who's saying what. History can attest to that. No one would do things any differently than Megan Cal has...maybe not in the same way (Facebook) but no UL fan, UK fan...noone wouldn't react in a similar way and you're lying to yourself if you think you would. That, or you're extremely disinterested in your family's goings on.

Jim, your as bad as Forde and Story you just keep writting the same things over and over. Lay the smack down Erin.

The only reason you feel that way is because you don't experience the other fanbases on a regular basis, and you would never fathom that UofL fans can be just as irrational as UK fans. 2) Pitino has proven to have questionable character many a times, even staunch UK hater Jim Schue will tell you that. 3) If you can't see that the 2 situations are completely different then there is no need continuing with this....
