The only reason you feel that way is because you don't experience the other fanbases on a regular basis, and you would never fathom that UofL fans can be just as irrational as UK fans. 2) Pitino has proven to have questionable character many a times, even staunch UK hater Jim Schue will tell you that. 3) If you can't see that the 2 situations are completely different then there is no need continuing with this.... :thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb: Couldn't have said it any better!

I really do not feel anyone can argue that point logically. The debate begins and ends w/the manner in which Erin Calipari defended her father. Was that correct or not? It is however, modern day, new technology, a new age!!!!

June 1, 200917 yr Big Spikes, how many coaches have kids? How many coaches get lambasted by writers, fans, etc? How many coaches kids try to retaliate? If this is upsetting her now, the poor girl is destined for a very stressful life in Kentucky. It's not the fact that she's defending her father. It's the fact that she's opened herself up to a new level of scrutiny-that of herself. Some times, the best way to handle this stuff is to ignore it. While you are correct that the best thing to do is ignor ie I can't blame her for what she did. Heres the thing I have mentioned. Since UK has hired Calipari, Forde has written 3 articles blasting him. Thats in the last 10 weeks. It is obvious that he dislikes Calipari and wants to see him fail. So my question is this. Why should Forde talk so bad about Calipari and it be okay, while its not okay for Calipari's daughter to talk bad publicly about Forde?

June 1, 200917 yr You say that in jest, but the fact is Saul Smith would've made a difference of about 6-7 games this past year for UK, given how weak their PG situation was. While I will agree that Saul Smith was better than Michael Porter, it wasn't by that much. Definately not 6 or 7 games, anyway. I can't even fathom those two subjects 1.)Saul Smith and 2.) The difference in winning 6 or 7 games, would ever be in the same sentence together, and I truly don't believe that you believe Saul would be the difference on any team for that many wins.

Why is one OK and one not? Other than Erin is a babe and UK basketball gets a pass and UK football does not Do you need any other reason?
June 1, 200917 yr Forde is negatively biased when he writes anything about UK. His commentary on Calipari after UK hired him was proof. He went on and on about Calipari's shady past. But what shady past does he have? The Camby incident at UMass was something Camby did behind Calipari's back. I'm sure if Cal had known what was going on he would have been steamed to no end. And now the Rose incident brings Forde back into form once more. What's the issue here? A high school kid possibly cheated on his SAT. But then the NCAA Clearinghouse gives him the go-ahead to play college basketball. That's not a Memphis or Calipari issue. It's a high school student, his high school, and a NCAA issue. I think Calipari is unfortunate to have experience these two incidents. But he was guilty of nothing imo, except being deceived by Rose and Camby. It seems like the NCAA needs to form another organization to approve the findings of the Clearinghouse. Call it the All Clear For Sure Now House. Nothing shady about Calipari imo. Just a great speaker/talker and great recruiter/coach. And by the way, the young man who rode the plane needs to pay the bill Memphis long ago sent him. Memphis is in no way in trouble with that one.
