Mike Flynn is what I am hearing.

Can anyone confirm or deny Mike Flynn is the new basketball coach at Highlands?

If so that is great news!!!!!!!

I agree I have the highest respect for Mike Flynn. He is a great coach and person. Hope he gets the job.:thumb:

I have been hearing this since last week. If so, great news for Highlands.

This would be great for Highlands.

The guy can coach!

Good for Coach Flynn!

He's a great guy and would be a great coach at Highlands but don't count your eggs before they're hatched.

Key from Lloyd?

Actually heard Flynn was their #1 choice back in march, guess we will see.

If Mike Flynn is in fact the new coach of the Birds,

What changes?

What does he bring to the table that Willie did not?

Willie gets hammered on here pretty much because he did not win the region, yet I will ask what year should they have won it and did not?

Just curious to hear peoples thoughts on the selection, if in fact it is Mr. Flynn.

Flynn will bring a different style of offense.

Flynn will bring a different style of offense.

See the late 80's, early 90's Holmes teams...that's what Flynn brings to the table offensively.

From what I heard, the final 5 candidates were:

Goetz, Key, Feldman, Kelley, and Flynn.

Interesting...no Schumate or Carr.

Can anyone confirm this?

Tell me more about Flynn. Where has he been coaching the past few years?
