May 14, 200917 yr It looks like the Bengals were selected for this year's show. http://news.cincinnati.com/article/20090513/SPT02/305130064/1066/+Hard+Knocks++taps+Bengals
May 14, 200917 yr Sweet, I heard something about this a few weeks back and it was awaiting approval from Mike Brown. Should be interesting.
May 14, 200917 yr Any show called "Hard Knocks" would have to include Bengals fans pounding their heads into a wall over the moves made by Mike Brown.
May 14, 200917 yr I had heard this a couple of weeks ago. I have mixed emotions. I LOVE the show and seeing the behind the scenes stuff but......... I think it was the start of problems for the Cowboys last year. It's somewhat of a distraction.
May 14, 200917 yr I enjoy the series and since the Bengals will be featured it will make it even more intriguing for me. I like when they follow the undrafted guys trying to make a name during camp. I know only one featured "Hard Knocks" rep has made the playoffs but it's not like this show will make or break the Bengals' season.
May 14, 200917 yr YESS!!! I knew we would get it this year. http://www.bengals.com/news/article-1/bengals-home-on-hbo/98838d1c-e2cf-4bb8-9260-8d135f0ff544
May 14, 200917 yr I think it would be awesome to get to see your team behind the scenes like this. Congrats Bengal fans, this should be fun to watch. I didn't watch last years, because I hate the Cowboys with a passion. I might watch this one.

I didn't watch last years, because I hate the Cowboys with a passion. I might watch this one. I have never missed an episode of this show. Last year's was probably the most interesting. You had Jerry Jones which is all about promotion and controversy. T.O. was himself. Pacman Jones was trying to be reinstated. A lot of celebrities would stop by... in all it was pretty compelling. 85 will be highlighted, but I just do not find him very interesting nor do I think most do anymore. Not to mention he may be one of the worst interviews in sports.
May 14, 200917 yr I'd love to see Carson punch Chad in the grillz on this show lol...with his non throwing hand of course!
May 15, 200917 yr This is my favorite show on TV. If I remember correctly, the show consists of 4 1-hour segments. It starts a couple days before the first pre season game, and ends right before the final one. It is always fun to see what the players are like off the field. You also get a chance to see the struggle of what it takes to be in the NFL. I think more than any other professional sport, the coaches in the NFL really get after the players. If you do not like foul language, I would not watch this show.
May 15, 200917 yr I would say the off-season moves of Mike Brown this season did not have many fans hitting their heads against the wall! Anyone who does not think #85 will be featured big in this is a slight bit crazy, he sales guys!
May 16, 200917 yr I gotta kick out of Daugherty's article today. It mentioned the 6 robotic cameras that will possibly catch Mike brown shoving pennies into one of those paper tubes.
May 16, 200917 yr This will be the most felons featured in an HBO show since Oz went off the air a few years back.
